Was the Corner Stone Presented?

"The holy cornerstone for the Third Temple was transported by the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement on Jerusalem Day, 27 Iyar 5769 (May 21, 2009). It was driven from Ammunition Hill to the Jaffa Gate, along the western walls of the Old City to the downtown streets of Jerusalem. There it was to be presented to the people of Israel and to the entire world." Read More The only thing wrong with this is the full article comes up as an error message. The last time they tried to do this they were met with resistance from officials afraid their actions would spark a Muslim riot. So I would imagine it didn't happen this time either, or it would have been sensational, as Don has already commented.

Psalm 83, Isaiah 17, Ezekiel 38-39

Psalm 83 has been on my mind daily. Events in the Middle East are escalating and only a fool could say the region is headed for peace. Careful study of this Psalm will show you why it is constantly at the forefront of my thoughts.
To study this portion of Scripture, I researched online and found the following sites to contain valuable insights:
  1. Israelestine
  2. Psalm 83
  3. World and Church Trends and Biblical Prophecy
  4. Prophecy Puzzle
  5. The Fatalities of Psalm 83
  6. Rapture Ready
  7. Prophecy Depot
What I found fascinating is the list of countries that correspond to the names found in Asaph's Psalm. From Psalm 83

The names in Psalm 83 include:

  1. Assyria, joined with the sons of Lot; (Moab and Ammon)
  2. Moab, and the descendants of Abraham and Hagar.
  3. Ammon; Zebah, Zalmunna, Midianites.
  4. Edom, and the Ishmaelites, descendants of Abraham and Hagar, of Ishmael.
  5. Oreb, Zeeb, also Midianites; descendants of Abraham by Keturah. Midian allied with Amalek.
  6. Gebal, a coastal city of Philistia; the ancient Byblos, about 75 miles north of Tyre, on the coast of Lebanon.
  7. The Philistines, with Tyre; Sisera and Jabin; (Syro-Phoenician)
  8. Amalek, the city of Amalek was the border-fort on the Wadi El Arish. Saul did not kill the Amalekite king, Agag, as the LORD had commanded -- see 1 Samuel 15. Amalek was the "chief of the nations" of the land, per Balaam's prophecy, Num. 24:7, 20. These hateful people also date from Abraham's time. "But his latter end shall be that he perish forever."
No confederation like this has formed to come against Israel... yet. But that fact is about to change, and soon. Will you be ready when it does?

Are you consumed with the cares of this world right now? Or are you sensing in your spirit that God is moving and that you need to stay in close relationship with Him. These are exciting times!! Don't miss them because you are caught up in the cares of your everyday life. I challenge you to take a deeper look into these End Times prophecies and compare them to Daniel and Revelation. We are in the LAST DAYS!!

Iran Launches Missile-Israel Has No Interceptor

Psalm 91:5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flieth by day
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the Lord.

DEBKAfile's military sources report that Israel, the US and Europe were taken aback by Iran's successful launch Wednesday, May 20, of a two-stage, solid-fueled 2,000-kilometer range missile, but most of all by the accuracy of its aim in destroying its target, as proudly claimed by Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

US missile tracking systems, including the advanced American anti-missile station at the Nevatim airbase in the Israeli Negev, have confirmed the Iranian President's boast of Sejil-2's precision and other advanced capabilities.

US President Barack Obama "has long been concerned" by any development in Iran's missile program, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said, calling the test a "step in the wrong direction".

Western military sources told us later: "Iran is at least two or three years ahead of Israel's missile defenses."

The Arrow 2 anti-missile missile system can intercept a missile like this only when it is very close to Israel. Arrow 3, which is designed to knock such missiles out, won't be operational for several years.

From a worried Washington, Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman said the new missile "that can reach Israel, southeastern Europe and US bases in the Middle East is consistent" with US concerns about Iran's effort to develop ballistic missiles and its nuclear program and the "potential Iranian threat to its neighbors."

Until now, the Americans and Israelis were confident that insurmountable technical difficulties prevented Iran's missile industry from achieving an accurate guidance system. Their earlier missiles fired against Israel would therefore veer off target. This assumption was nullified by the Sejil-2 launch.

Air and missile interception planners in Israel and the US will have to go back to the drawing board for new answers to the new Iranian missile.

Iran's feat comes at a critical time for its efforts to build a nuclear arsenal of at least 10-12 nuclear warheads. It was also timed as a piece of muscle-flexing for the day Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu returned from talks with President Barack Obama in Washington.

The missile's successful launch obviates the strategic value of the understandings reached between the two men regarding the Iran's nuclear and missile programs.

Had the visit produced practical results, as the prime minister and his aides claimed, some American-Israeli response to the launch should have been forthcoming. But the very fact that it was not, indicates that their accords were general and not applicable to fluctuating conditions in the region

Netanyahu indicated that Washington and Jerusalem were agreed that Iran shall not have nuclear weapons. This understanding between the two allies dates from 2002, through the premierships of Ariel Sharon and Ehud Olmert. Today, we know what these general agreements have permitted Iran to make uninterrupted progress in its nuclear and missile programs.

Obama-Netanyahu Meeting Ends, Positions Remain the Same

(IsraelNN.com) Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and United States President Barack Obama sat down Monday for a lengthy meeting focusing on pressing international issues. The meeting continued into the afternoon, lasting more than an hour beyond what was planned.

The two then made a joint statement to the media.

Analysts have suggested that the two leaders approached the meeting with different goals. While Netanyahu hoped to gain Obama's support for strong action on Iran, Obama planned to focus on efforts to create a Palestinian Authority state in Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem.

Following the meeting, neither leader showed signs of having changed his position.

Netanyahu refrained from spelling out support for a PA-led Arab state. Instead, he reiterated previous statements in support of “Palestinian self-rule,” but made no mention of an independent state.

"We don't want to govern the Palestinians. We want them to govern themselves,” Netanyahu said. He expressed willingness to negotiate with the PA, but continued to demand that the PA recognize Israel as a Jewish state.

Obama said he and Netanyahu had talked about “restarting serious negotiations on issues of Israel and the Palestinians.” The president called for a “two-state solution,” as he has done in the past.

Obama also declared at the press conference that Israel is committed to refrain from building new homes for Jews in Judea and Samaria, according to the Road Map proposal of 2003.

While Obama said the U.S. is considering a “range of steps” against Iran if Iran continues with its nuclear program, he opposed the imposition of a deadline on attempts to dialog with the hard-line Islamic republic. However, he said the U.S. hopes to see progress by the end of 2009.

Members of Netanyahu's cabinet have expressed concern that Iran will take advantage of America's willingness to conduct a dialog, and use the time thus gained in order to cross the nuclear threshold. However, Netanyahu has not expressed opposition to the American position.

Aides to Netanyahu said prior to the meeting that the Prime Minister was encouraged by statements Obama made Sunday in which the president said he would keep “all options on the table” regarding Iran. Obama also told Newsweek that when it comes to Iran, “I don't think it's my place to determine for the Israelis what their security needs are.”

Obama has placed Israel-PA negotiations high on his list of diplomatic priorities, and has expressed hope that Israeli leaders will support the creation of a PA state. Netanyahu says he is willing to negotiate with the PA, but would like to see the PA become more stable in terms of economy and security before it is given control of more territories.

Bibi, Don't Give In!!

Ketzaleh in Last Minute Appeal: 'Bibi, Don’t Give In'
(IsraelNN.com) With Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu getting ready to leave Jerusalem and travel to Washington DC, MK Ya’akov (Ketzaleh) Katz, chairman of the Ichud Leumi (National Union) party, fired off a last-minute appeal to the prime minister to remain strong in the face of pressure to agree to a “two state solution.”

According to reports from the U.S., President Barack Obama intends to pressure Israel to agree to the “two state” formula, which would involve the establishment of a potentially hostile Arab state in Israel’s mountainous Biblical heartland.

Demonstration Thursday outside PM's home: 'One Land for One Nation.' (Israel News Photo: Flash 90).

Ketzaleh wrote: “You were elected by the majority of the Jewish public in Israel which trusts you not to stray from the promises you gave it during the election campaign, to safeguard the Land of Israel for the Nation of Israel alone, and to end the discrimination against the pioneers who settle the land.”

“Just as you stood firm against domestic pressures from those who tried to cajole you into declaring support for the ‘two state’ plan, so you will know how to stand firm in the face of the nations of the world, lest this evil plot be realized in our Holy Land,” he encouraged Netanyahu.

“The Nation of Israel prays that you will succeed in your mission to stand resolute as the emissary of the Eternal Nation and its history, to build the Land and strengthen it,” Ketzaleh added.

Rabbi Gold: 'Pray!'

Rabbi Shalom Gold of the Union of Rabbis for the Nation of Israel said Friday that he prays that Netanyahu will carry out the mission that has been assigned to him at this time. “We must pray that Hashem will give strength to Binyamin Netanyhau in this critical mission,” he said.

“He is now facing an entire array of people who want to force upon us the ‘final solution of the Jewish problem,’ – ‘two states for two peoples.’ This is a solution that began back in the days when Tzipi Livni (Kadima head) believed that she would be the midwife of the Palestinian State. Such a state is an existential danger to Israel,” he warned.

Netanyahu has the rhetorical gift and he can withstand pressure from the U.S., Gold estimated. “He must stand firm in front of his American counterpart, he said, “because one mistake by him could bring great sorrow to generations.”

Happy Birthday, Israel !!!

On this day, May 14, 1948, Israel was officially born as a nation - and it happened in only one day, exactly as foretold in Scripture. That event was predicted centuries earlier by the prophet Isaiah.

Isaiah 66:8
Who has heard such a thing?
Who has seen such things?
Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day?
Or shall a nation be born at once?
For as soon as Zion was in labor,
She gave birth to her children.

The restoration of Israel was also foretold by Amos.

Amos 9:11-15
11 “On that day I will raise up
The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down,
And repair its damages;
I will raise up its ruins,
And rebuild it as in the days of old;
12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom,
And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,”
Says the LORD who does this thing.
13 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD,
“When the plowman shall overtake the reaper,
And the treader of grapes him who sows seed;
The mountains shall drip with sweet wine,
And all the hills shall flow with it.
14 I will bring back the captives of My people Israel;
They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them;
They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them;
They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them.
15 I will plant them in their land,
And no longer shall they be pulled up
From the land I have given them,”
Says the LORD your God.

A Word from the Lord sent through Jeremiah provides the promise that Israel will never cease to exist.

Jeremiah 31:35,36
35 Thus says the LORD,
Who gives the sun for a light by day,
The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night,
Who disturbs the sea,
And its waves roar
(The LORD of hosts is His name):
36 “If those ordinances depart
From before Me, says the LORD,
Then the seed of Israel shall also cease
From being a nation before Me forever.”

A plan in which the entire Muslim world would recognize Israel!

Wow! End time events are quickly taking place right before our eyes. Just look around...listen...and read your Bible! This article below describes yet another peace plan - one promoted by the United States, and one that would have the entire Muslim world recognizing Israel.

I'm reminded of Daniel 9:27a NKJV, "Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;"

The "he" in that Scripture is the antichrist and the "one week" is a seven year time period. But who are the "many" described by Daniel?

Is it possible the "many" could be the entire Muslim world - now almost a third of the world population? Is this the covenant spoken of by Daniel? Only God knows. He has already seen the end...and can place kings in power that will cause His ultimate plan to unfold.

It really is amazing the pace in which everything in the world is happening and aligning perfectly with scripture.

Interesting side note:
From another recent story, the Supreme Muslim Counsel has un-earthed a document that was written to Muslims by Muslims that the temple mount is Jewish! Could the temple could be a bargaining chip in this covenant? As you are aware, the Jews are preparing for a third temple.

Full story of the plan proposal here

Excerpts from the story:
The United States is promoting a peace plan for the Middle East involving a "57-state solution" in which the entire Muslim world would recognize Israel, Monday's Times of London quoted Jordan's King Abdullah as saying,

"We are offering a third of the world to meet them with open arms," the king said. "The future is not the Jordan River or the Golan Heights or the Sinai, the future is Morocco in the Atlantic and Indonesia in the Pacific. That is the prize." But he warned: "If we delay our peace negotiations, then there is going to be another conflict between Arabs or Muslims and Israel in the next 12-18 months."

The newspaper said the king had hatched the plan with President Barack Obama in Washington in April. Details are likely to be thrashed out in a series of diplomatic moves this month, including Obama's meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington next week.

While Palestinians seek a state in their long-running conflict with Israel, Syria wants the return of the Golan Heights, seized by Israel in a 1967 war. Israel and Lebanon's Hezbollah fought a war in 2006.

The Times said that, after Obama's meeting with Netanyahu in Washington on May 18, the peace initiative could form the centrepiece of his major address to the Muslim world in Egypt on June 4.

My Prayer...For Such A Time As This

My Prayer...For Such A Time As This

In light of the time in which we live, I felt led to write and share this fervent prayer with many. Please join together with me in lifting up our praise, our thanksgiving, and our requests before the throne of Almighty God.

Don

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank You, I praise You, and I trust in You for who You are, for Your tender care and mercies, for watching over us, and for providing for our every need. Oh Lord, You are our Creator, You are in control of our very existence, and You know all of our thoughts and shortcomings.

But Father, in such a time as this we must humbly fall on our knees and bow before You. As a people and as a nation, we must repent and seek Your face as never before. Lord, we have failed miserably, we have forgotten to acknowledge You as sovereign in all things, and we have gone our own way – only to become lost and desperately in need of Your protective and guiding hand.

In such a time as this, we see evil all around us causing misery and destroyed lives. The foundations and principles on which our nation was established are being diluted and eroded. Our financial institutions are crumbling right before our eyes. Father, we see corruption and greed in all levels of our government. Your Ten Commandments for us are quickly disappearing from public view. Your Truths and our prayers in Jesus’ Name are no longer permitted in our schools – for they are considered offensive and exclusive. But at the same time, satanic, pagan religions are permitted and taught to the young minds who will one day be the leaders of our country.

In such a time as this our moral fabric has been allowed to deteriorate into a seemingly hopeless state with failed marriages, rampant homosexuality and immorality, the slaughter of countless unborn children, hate and violence in the heart and mind of men, and dishonesty is everywhere we look. Lord, it grieves me to know we have fallen so deeply into the pit of self-destruction.

Father, it brings me to tears when I learn that Your Holy written Word is now considered hate literature in many locations, and cannot be preached as it must be preached. Your precious gospel message of salvation is no longer the essential cornerstone for the Christian faith in many churches today. Teachings of repentance, judgment, born-again, accountability, the Way, the Truth, and the Life only through Jesus’ shed blood on the cross have been replaced with teachings of tolerance, love, feelings, self-esteem, sermons that don’t offend, and that many paths lead to heaven. People are dying Lord, and souls are eternally lost every day because they haven’t received the true gospel. May eyes be opened quickly to the everlasting Truth of Your Word.

In these times in which we live, we see nations planning to destroy each other – many diligently seeking the means and the opportunity to destroy even us as a people and nation. Father, help us to never become arrogant, believing that we would always be immune to a devastating attack on our country – either from outside our boarders, or from within. It’s only because of Your watchful eye and Your hand of protection that we’ve been allowed to let freedom ring. I fear that we as a people are no longer a God-fearing nation, but instead we have become a nation that has turned its back on You. We have abandoned the respect and reverence for You - Almighty God - and for the Biblical principles and values that once made our nation great. Lord, how long will Your patience endure? How long will Your cloak of protection continue to cover over us?

For such a time as this we must turn to You, we must lean on You, and we must renew our dependence and trust in You – and in You alone. Father, Your Word promises that if we would humble ourselves, if we would pray and seek after You, and if we would repent – turning away from our evil ways, then You would hear our cries of despair. Only then, will Your blessings be poured out on us again as You have promised – restoring us and healing our land.

I pray that we as a people and a nation will do that for such a time as this – all for Your glory. Forgive me, Lord, for I too have fallen short, and have not always lived a life that is pleasing to You. Help me in every way to bring honor to Your Name, for I love You and desire to do Your Will. I pray this and ask it in the matchless Name of Jesus, my Savior and Lord.

Amen!

IAF Practicing MIG-29/F-16 Dogfights

Wars and Rumors of Wars...............
05.13.2009

*
Israel Air Force test pilots are flying MIG 29 jets and conducting dogfights against the IAF's F-16 fighters, Channel 2 revealed Wednesday evening.

The MIG 29, a jet developed by the soviets in the 1970s, is one of the best fighter jets used by eastern and Arab countries, as well as by Syria and Iran. It was developed to counter American-made jets such the F-16 or F/A-18.

The jets were loaned to Israel by an unnamed foreign country. The experiment is meant to prepare IAF pilots for missions where they might have to fight a foreign air force.

"We tested them… we trained the IAF pilots against them," an unnamed IAF official said.

The IAF employs ten test pilots. The training of each costs about a million dollars, but the experience gleaned from the test pilots, the unnamed official said, "is priceless."

"You fly in places and in certain conditions in a way never attempted before," an unidentified test pilot said. "Once, a piece of the jet's body broke during an experiment but the crew managed to land it safely."

A test jet is a regular jet except for special sensors which literally cover every aspect of its mechanical and electronic systems and can be monitored from the ground for assessment.

An additional experiment conducted recently by the air force involved loading an F-16 with weapons to its utmost capacity, "flight in a heavy formation," as the test pilot labeled it. The experiment was meant to measure the pilot's safety and the fighter's capability when it's armed to maximum degree. A jet armed in such a way might be used in a long-distance sortie. The pilots interviewed would not name which foreign countries might be the targets of such sorties, but it was clear the main target of such an ambitious mission would be Iran's nuclear installations.

Israel in the Crosshairs

This is a great informative article on Israel's situation today, by Alan Caruba- please read the entire post on his blog: Warning Signs

Israel in the Crosshairs

By Alan Caruba

There are few nations on Earth other than Israel with a greater claim to exist as a homeland for a specific people. Along with China and India, Israel reaches back thousands of years, predating both Christianity and Islam.

For some 3,500 years, Jews have lived in Israel. In good times and bad, Jews have always identified themselves with Israel even when, as a Diaspora, they spread for their survival to many other nations. The re-establishment of Israel on May 14, 1948 led to two immediate events. Within eleven minutes after the announcement, President Harry S. Truman recognized the new nation. Within hours, the Arab League declared war.

With only six hundred thousand Jewish residents at the time, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq joined together to destroy Israel. They failed. They tried again in 1967. They failed. They tried in 1973, attacking on one of the holiest days in the Jewish calendar, Yom Kippur. They failed.

Following the 1967 war, eight Arab nations gathered in Khartoum and issued their “Three No’s.” No peace with Israel. No recognition of Israel. No negotiations with Israel. In time, Egypt would sign a peace treaty; though not abandon its animus. Jordan would make its accommodations. The others remained hostile.

To understand Israel’s situation, it is necessary to understand that (1) Jews had lived there since the days of Moses, (2) the early Zionist movement members that moved there purchased land on which to farm and live, (3) the land which was captured in successive wars had always been part of Israel, and (4) both the United Kingdom and the U.S., for their own reasons, have not been honest brokers, particularly so far as their demand that Israel negotiate with people who never had any intention to negotiate peace.

The Israelis did not steal their own land, nor are they illegitimate “occupiers” of their land regained as the result of having been attacked. What they gained in wars against them historically was always theirs and had been denied to them by the Arab nations that claimed them.

The Mystery of Lag Ba'Omer

Jews celebrate a minor holiday called Lag Ba'Omer, or Counting of the Omer, celebrated this year on May 12th. Reading the history of this holiday is very enlightening and gives one a clearer perspective as to the heart of Jews who refuse to accept Yeshua as their Messiah.

Here is an excerpt from a teaching by Rabbi Pinchas Stolper

Thirty-three days following the first day of Passover, Jews celebrate a "minor" holiday called Lag Ba'Omer, the thirty third day of the Omer. It is an oasis of joy in the midst of the sad Sefirah period which is almost unnoticed by most contemporary Jews. Yet it contains historic lessons of such great severity -- that this generation must not only unravel the mystery of Lag Ba'Omer but will discover that its own fate is wrapped in the crevices of its secrets.

The seven weeks between Passover and Shavuot are the days of the "Counting of the Omer," the harvest festivities which were observed in Eretz-Israel when the Temple stood on Mt. Moriah in Jerusalem.

This fifty day period should have been a time of joyful anticipation. Having experienced the Exodus from Egypt on Pesach, every Jew literally "counts the days" from the first night of Passover until Mattan Torah - the revelation of Torah at Mt. Sinai which took place on Shavuot, exactly fifty days after the Exodus. While the Exodus marks the physical birth of the Jewish nation -- the Giving of Torah completes the process through the spiritual birth of the Jewish nation.

Each year, as we celebrate the Seder on Passover, we are commanded to "see ourselves as though each of us actually experienced the Exodus." It therefore follows that we must prepare ourselves during the Sefirah period (counting of the Omer), to once again accept the Torah on Shavuot -- to make our freedom spiritually complete.

Clearly then, the Sefirah days should have been days of joy, but instead, they are observed as a period of semi-mourning. Weddings, music and haircuts are not permitted, some do not shave during this entire period. It is on the sad side of Sefirah that we come across the holiday of Lag Ba'Omer, the one day during this sad period when our mourning is halted, when sadness is forbidden.

What is the reason for sadness during what should have been a period of joyful anticipation? The reason, the Babylonian Talmud tells us, [Yevamot:62:2] is that during this period, Rabbi Akiva's 24,000 students, who lived 1,850 years ago in the Roman dominated Land of Israel, died from a mysterious G-d sent plague. Why did they die? Because the Talmud teaches, "they did not show proper respect to one another." Lag Ba'Omer is celebrated on the thirty-third day because on that day the plague ended and Rabbi Akiva's students stopped dying. Read this interesting story here: Lag Ba'Omer
