European Union foreign ministers are expected to officially call next week for the division of Jerusalem, to serve as the capitals of both Israel and Palestine. A draft document authored by the current holder of the rotating EU presidency, Sweden, and implying that the EU would recognize a unilateral Palestinian declaration of statehood, has been obtained by Haaretz.
Jerusalem is waging a diplomatic campaign to keep the EU from issuing such an endorsement, but diplomats close to the EU deliberations believe it is virtually inevitable.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again. God is in control, but I believe that Jerusalem is His line drawn in the sand. Once that line has been crossed the world will rapidly experience the wrath of His endtime judgments - for as told in Isaiah 62:1, He will not be silent or quiet for Zion and Jerusalem's sake.
Come quickly, Lord Jesus!

Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God!
Psalm 87:1-3 NKJV
1 His foundation is in the holy mountains.
2 The LORD loves the gates of Zion
More than all the dwellings of Jacob.
3 Glorious things are spoken of you,
O city of God! Selah
After another busy day, I finally sat down to relax and watch some TV hoping to catch up on the latest news. My channel surfing stopped when I found a repeat Bill Gathier concert performed and filmed a few years ago in old Jerusalem. It's titled, "Israel Homecoming".
Perhaps some of you have seen it before. With the music, the scenery, the worship, and with the Biblical historical and future significance Israel will surely play in the days ahead, it's very moving - bringing tears to my eyes each time I watch it. If you have a love for those things, as I do, I would recommend getting the video. It's very well done. I have both the CD and the video.
I would love to have been able to visit there sometime during my life. As a Bible believing child of God, I have a love for Israel and the Jewish people. Just the thought of breathing the air Jesus breathed, walking on the ground where He walked, seeing the sights He saw, and savoring the sweet fragrance of the Holy Land in bloom, is more than I can imagine.
Also, seeing the places where He performed His miracles, the Garden of Gethsemane, Mt. Calvary, the Mt. of Olives, the empty tomb of our risen Lord, and so much more - not to worship or idolize those places, but to simply stand in awe of my Savior, Lord and Master, Who was there and will return again soon just as He said He would.
Praise God! Hallelujah! What a day that will be for all who belong to Him!
Until then, we must pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Ps. 122:6).

Promises
Isaiah 66:8-14
Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed , she brought forth her children.
Shall I bring to the birth , and not cause to bring forth ? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth , and shut the womb? saith thy God.
Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:
That ye may suck , and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out , and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck , ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
As one whom his mother comforteth , so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice , and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
More promises for future Israel. Peace like a river with the Glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream. Those who align themselves with Israel will be comforted in Jerusalem. Right now there is fear and uncertainty but in that day, God says our hearts will rejoice, and our bones will flourish like a growing plant. We who love Israel and mourn for her will be glad and rejoice...we will know the hand of the Lord, not his judgment reserved for His enemies. Get rooted and grounded in the word now. Let the Lord open your eyes to the Truth about Israel. Beware of emergent church doctrine, replacement theology and those who would put God's promises in the past tense. There is much more to come!! Are you ready for it??
