It is an open border - this southern border with Mexico, because mainly for political reasons, the Obama administration refused to seal it off.   Now it is too late - as like a swarm of deadly dangerous wasps these terrorists come to pay the United States back with an unimaginable vengeance for the bombing of their Muslim brethren in Syria and Iraq. Terrorists from many different nations, but all united in their fanatic Islamic belief in Allah, and their thirst for revenge against one of the last powers that still stands in the way of them ruling the world as an unchallenged and unopposed ISLAMIC Caliphate.   Here they come - spreading themselves over America's cities and sensitive sites, waiting for the day when their orders will come from their far away ISLAMIC chiefs to attack these cities and bridges. It will be terrible - a hundred times and more of what once happened to the Twin Towers and to the Pentagon!   It will unleash a torrent of accusations against their dishonest and feeble leadership by those who will initially still survive - which in turn may well spark race riots all over America. The choice EMP (Electric Magnetic Pulse) weapon may well do such damage to the electric grid and other sensitive means of communications that it will in one fell swoop deal a death blow to America's famed greatness, bringing millions literally to their knees crying out for their lives and livelihood.   It will be terrible to watch the sheer agony and death of those who had been warned again and again by God and men - that these things might come upon them. And then it will all be too late. It will have happened! Hearing that America has begun to bomb and destroy ISIS in Iraq and Syria, one does not need to be a prophet - seeing the sheer unpreparedness of the US - that this will be their Muslim answer!   God has spoken these things through various channels, two of which I feel led to include this time.   Steve Hansen:   I have been sensing for weeks that there is a crippling attack being planned right now against America to be released on American soil. It will be a crippling attack. It will be the release of the floodgate of many more attacks to follow. May the cry of repentance and heart-cry of true humility He is looking for be released in our churches, Sunday/Saturday/Wed/Etc services, home groups, houses of prayer, government halls, prayer gatherings, for national repentance. Lord please let our hearts not stay hard, let us quickly become sober from our drunkenness on self indulgence and entertainment and quickly awaken our hearts to repentance! He wants us to return to Him as a nation and to do it rightly and quickly.   Rick Joyner:   Rick Joyner had a prophetic dream of chaos and revolution that was so terrifying that he felt compelled to issue an "urgent warning" to his supporters, informing them that the complete collapse of the United States will soon take place if our governmental leaders do not seal our southern border.   In his dream, Joyner saw the gate of Hell opened up and hordes of demonic forces in the form of ISIS and other terrorist organizations crossing into the United States across the border, where they began to systematically murder Americans in ways so horrible that he could not even bring himself to describe them.   As a result of these attacks, militias sprung up all over the country and turned against the federal government for its failure to seal the border, causing government workers to flee for their lives. Joyner's recommendation is for the federal government to immediately close off the southern border and for county sheriffs to being to reach out to local militia commanders and establish good relationships with them in hopes of being able to exert some control when these uprisings begin.   As Zephaniah indeed prophesies:   Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together, O shameful nation, before the decree is issued, or the day passes like chaff, before the Lord's fierce anger comes upon you, before the day of the Lord's anger comes upon you! Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. FOLLOWING THE LORD'S COMMAND

My hat goes off to television’s Fox News channel yesterday when they had Bobby Bowden as a guest on the "Fox and Friends" early morning show.  Even more important, my hat goes off to him.

Bowden is a retired college football coach who holds the NCAA record for the most career wins and bowl wins by a Division 1 coach.  He coached the Florida Seminoles football team for 33 seasons.  He published a book about his biblical faith titled, "The Wisdom of Faith."

He is not ashamed to share the saving gospel message with others, and has never been concerned about being politically correct.  He would rather be spiritually correct.  He doesn't just say it - he lives it, by sharing biblical Truth at every opportunity - even to the millions watching Fox News.

Bowden takes Jesus' command to His disciples and to all professing believers very seriously when Jesus said to spread the saving gospel message to all - everywhere.  Those were Jesus' final "marching orders" to all believers before He ascended into heaven.  Bowden did that very thing on the Fox program.  Two of the show hosts had their mouth open in disbelief.

I believe millions were watching the program who had never heard, or perhaps they have heard but never took the message seriously.  Huge numbers of so called "Christians" are "Christian-in-name-only", and don't have a clue.  Many, if not most, churches preach a "politically correct gospel", or a "social gospel", or an "easy believe-ism gospel", or a "prosperity gospel", or no gospel - of which none are a ticket to heaven.  The saving gospel of salvation by faith alone is not about any of those things - nor, is it just about living a good life, loving others, and being a good person, as many believe for gaining entry through heaven's gates.

I got to thinking.  Are we as professing believers following Jesus' command?  Am I doing that?  If so, then, exactly how?  When was the last time we shared the saving gospel message with others using scripture?  If we have never done that, then, why haven’t we?  Are we afraid we might offend someone?  Do we know scripture well enough to clearly present the saving gospel?  Or, perhaps the reason is that although we might call ourselves "Christian", we are actually clueless as to what the saving gospel message is all about.

How might you respond to those questions?  What is my response?  We are either in the Lord’s army, or we are not.   We must think seriously about that.

At no time in history has it been more important to share the saving gospel with others.  In these last days, the world is in turmoil with violence and killing everywhere we look - just as foretold in Scripture.

My heart goes out to Israel and the Jewish people as they face daily life with uncertainty.  People there and world-wide are dying every day without the Lord in their life.
 
It is high time for the Lord's army to stand up and proclaim His Truth to the lost.  May we never forget that a believer's mission field for sharing the saving gospel extends from home to around the world.

Morning Anew...

I awoke from tear-stained dreams of grief and despair, to the dim light of dawn. Deep vermillion seeped into the indigo of the receding night sky and highlighted the waves of clouds overhead. A shiver ran through me as the red sun emerged and sent rays of light across the undersides of the clouds in a burst of brilliance and breathtaking splendor. How could this be? Time should have ended. The earth should have come to a stand still and dissolved from the endless tears I had shed. He was the One. He said so. I believed Him. Now He was gone.

The heavens came alive with pinks and flaming oranges streaking through deep purples and lavenders. Searing white gold outlined the clouds closely guarding the sun, and the sky exploded. I couldn't breathe, but the world wasn't coming to an end, it was... rejoicing! Birds flew to tree branches and their melodies swept through my heart strings, stirring my emotions into my own song of wonder. I dressed in haste and ran out the door.

Nothing prepared me for the endless notes of praise singing through the blades of grass as I ran to that awful place of finality. There should have been sadness and anguish, instead, the air reverberated with the harmonics of an invisible choir. I turned in circles in the center of blinding light.

And then His voice parted the mist. I stood in His rapturous presence unable to speak, while around me, the earth laughed out loud and the heavens resounded in triumphant ecstasy. All of creation could not contain the joy of seeing their Beloved alive!

Drained of strength and overcome with euphoric awe, I fell to my knees and hid my face in my hands. A whisper, soft as a summer zephyr, surrounded me and held me in quiet tenderness.  "You must tell the others. I go to my Father, but I will be with all of you... soon." 

The scent of rose water, frankincense and myrrh lifted me to my feet before it drifted into the air. I stood, trembling, afraid to open my eyes. When I did, rays of sunlight bathed my room in a warm ethereal glow. Had it been just a dream? Tears formed, but when I turned my head, something cool and soft caressed my cheek. The heady fragrance of rose petals on my pillow had me tossing the covers aside. I dressed in haste and ran out the door with a message that would turn the world upside down...

"He's Alive!"

THE UPCOMING LUNAR TETRAD

By now you have probably heard of the soon-to-come blood red moons that will happen during 2014 and 2015.  Actually, blood-red moon occurrences are common.  They are simply a total eclipse of the moon.  The phenomena will become visible when the earth is positioned between the sun and the moon causing the earth’s shadow to cover the moon’s surface.  When that happens, the moon will appear as being blood-red in color when observed in the night sky.

However, this time will be different.  A rare pattern of total eclipses, known as a lunar tetrad, will occur during 2014 and 2015.  In other words, a lunar tetrad is four consecutive blood-red moon events taking place in a relatively short period of time.  That has only happened seven times in the past 2000 years.  The upcoming tetrad will be the eighth.   Incidentally, the number four is symbolic of God’s Creative Works, seven is the biblical number for Completeness, and the number eight signifies New Birth, New Creation, or New Beginnings.

Many people might yawn and say, “So what?  Why is that a big deal?”

 Well, it is a big deal because all seven of the lunar tetrads during the past 2000 years have either fallen on or very near Jewish Feast Days – specifically, “Passover” and “Tabernacles”.  The Jewish Feast Days were established by God as significant appointed times for Israel and the Jewish people.  Historically, Passover has been a time of deliverance or war for Israel.  The Bible teaches that in the last days God will turn His attention toward Israel and the Jewish people that they might fall on their knees in repentance and look to Jesus as Messiah.  That will surely happen in the last days as foretold in Scripture.
 
You might recall reading Genesis 1:14 (KJV) where God provides details about His creation.

“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:” (emphasis mine)
   
This is what Luke 21:25 (KJV) has to say concerning signs that warn of the last days.

“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;” (emphasis mine)

Blood moons are also spoken of in several scriptures related to the coming Day of the Lord.  Acts 2:20, Joel 2:30-31, and Revelation 6:12 are three of them.

History has recorded that during each of the seven previous tetrads, an event of major proportions has taken place.  They include God-appointed times of both disaster and victory for Israel.  The following is a brief review of what happened during the three most recent lunar tetrads – all occurring on Passover and Tabernacle Feast Days.

The Passover and Tabernacle tetrads of 1493 and 1494:
Huge numbers of Jewish people who had been exiled in Spain for over 1000 years were expelled from that country, ushering in a dark period of time for the Jewish people.

The Passover and Tabernacle tetrads of 1949 and 1950:
Centuries after the Jewish people had been scattered and driven away from their God-given land, they returned as Scripture foretold hundreds of years before.  On May 14, 1948 there was a re-birth of Israel as a sovereign nation, and was recognized as such world-wide.  It happened in a one-day time period exactly as prophesied almost 2500 years earlier.  Then, immediately following her re-birth, Israel was invaded by seemingly overwhelming forces.  However, against all odds, God granted Israel the victory as He has promised to do.

The Passover and Tabernacle tetrads of 1967 and 1968:
In June of 1967 Israel was suddenly attacked by overwhelming forces in what is known as the Six-Day Arab-Israeli War.  The out-numbered Israeli forces soundly defeated her attackers and re-captured Jerusalem.  That great city, the City of God, has been under Israeli possession and control ever since.

The four upcoming consecutive tetrads will happen in April and October 2014, then again in April and September 2015 on Passover and Tabernacle Feast times of both years.  It is also noteworthy that there will be a full eclipse of the sun (blackened sun) in March 2015 – another sign of the last days as foretold in Scripture.

The odds of four blood moons occurring in sequence on those Jewish feast days, and with an eclipse of the sun happening in the middle of the tetrad, is beyond our ability to calculate.  The only logical answer is that it will be a supernatural alignment controlled by the hand of God.
 
So, what major event or events will happen during the years of 2014 and 2015?  Specifically, what will take place with Israel and the Jewish people?   No one can know, but based on the history of tetrads falling on Jewish Feast Days over the past 2000 years, there should be little doubt that something significant will likely take place during that time.

Never before in history have there been so much wide-spread hatred for the Jewish people.  The nations surrounding her are drunk with the mind-set of destroying Israel.  On-going efforts to establish a land-for-peace agreement among peoples with opposing ideologies and motives have been futile.  That part of the world is a tinder box ready to explode at any moment.

If the flames of major war should erupt in the region, the weapons available to them today could have devastating effects – not only there, but world-wide.  World-power nations would not stand idly by, and would likely enter the conflict.  Such action could easily cause WWIII to begin.

Is the tetrad event of 2014 and 2015 a warning from God that such an event is imminent?  Will that be the appointed time for Jesus’ promised appearing in the clouds to remove His church from this earth prior to the world’s “hour of trial” as He described in Revelation 3:10, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, John 14:3, and others?  Again, we can not know...but we must be ready, should that happen.
 
The time remaining to get ready has almost passed by.  To get ready we must stop playing church, and stop acting-out Christianity.  The man-made religious rituals, traditions, and good works used in vain attempts to make ourselves more worthy to God must be abandoned. We must toss aside our excuses, our worldly lifestyles, our unbelief, and our lack of faith.  We must turn our eyes toward the One Who knows the beginning and the end, and Who is in control of all things.  Our being ready means that we must have our hearts right with God.

Is your heart right with God?  Are you ready to meet Him?  That day is surely coming for all, perhaps sooner rather than later.

Are you one who, perhaps through wishful thinking, believes that Jesus will not return in your lifetime, or for a hundred years, or even a thousand years, or maybe you don’t believe He will ever return?  With such beliefs, then, whether you realize it or not, you are fulfilling Bible prophecy.  Carefully consider the words recorded in 2 Peter 3:3-4 (NASB).

"Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.” (emphasis mine)
  
It is time to get serious - not just to know about Him, but to truly know Him.  To know the Lord is to have a personal relationship with Him day-after-day as the scriptures teach.  We will know Him after we realize we are spiritually lost and, then, we must consciously and deliberately reach out by faith alone to humbly receive the gift of salvation He freely offers to all who would choose to believe.

"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."

The Good News of the gospel is so simple a child can understand it.  Please don’t complicate it with a faith in religion and rituals – for they are only the works of man.  I pray that hearts and minds will open, and ears will hear of the love God has shown toward us by Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross to purchase our redemption.  Jesus, the spotless Lamb of God, paid the full price for our sin debt – a debt we could never pay.  Just imagine - He did that for you and me!
  
Will you receive Him into your life today?  He desires to have a personal relationship with all, and is patiently waiting to hear from you.
         
As for the approaching lunar tetrad, we don’t know what the future holds, but we do know Who holds the future.  Our times are in His hands (Psalm 31:15).  We must trust in Him today and everyday with all that is within us (Proverbs 3:5).

About the first of January of this year a major winter storm descended on much of the United States affecting millions of people.  Now after a week, the storm continues to rage causing serious disruption - extending from coast to coast and deep into our South land.

The storm’s path has brought record-setting cold temperatures, high winds, snow, and blizzard conditions of historic proportions.  Many schools and businesses have been forced to close until the storm passes by.  The immeasurable toll on human lives and our already shaky economy will be devastating.
 
Many “old-timers” have said it is the worst wide-spread winter weather they have seen in decades – if ever.  One meteorologist stated that this storm is one the likes of which hasn’t been seen in over 100 years.  One reporter even said it seems to be a storm of biblical proportions.

If you have been watching the news, then, you will recall that a United States team, led by John Kerry, traveled to Jerusalem on January 1, 2014 to continue relentless, on-going peace negotiations with Israel’s Netanyahu and Abbas of the Palestinians.  The strong-arm tactics used to force Israel into submission never seem to cease – and they will likely become more intense.

It is being reported that Kerry’s efforts during this new round of discussions concerning the "final status negotiations" toward a "two-state solution" between the Israelis and Palestinians will be the primary focus.  Kerry wants to have a foundational deal agreed to by both parties and wrapped up within the next four months.

It will be a tough sell because Abbas won't recognize Israel and Netanyahu won't divide Israel.  However, we know that Israel will be divided.  Scripture tells us so.

Joel 3:2 NKJV
I will also gather all nations,
And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
And I will enter into judgment with them there
On account of My people, My heritage Israel,
Whom they have scattered among the nations;
They have also divided up My land.
 
Zechariah 12:2-3 NKJV
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem.  And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.

The NKJV uses the words "cut in pieces".  Just look around, and you will see those pieces beginning to pile up on the cutting room floor - not only here, but worldwide.

Everything from devastating tornados, hurricanes, to super-storms often happen within hours or days every time we attempt to pressure Israel into dividing their God-given land.  Those events are well documented.  Are those supernatural events from God serving as a warning of His upcoming judgment?  I believe that may be so!
 
Witness the present weather disaster!  This storm's timing couldn't be better, and is certainly yet another warning from God to leave His land and His people alone!
