Jerusalem should be at world's center
24/03/2010 01:00
LONDON – Jerusalem should return to the role it played in history, when it was the center of the world and a major destination for tourists and pilgrims from all religions, Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat told an audience at the prestigious London think-tank Chatham House on Monday evening.
“I want to return the role Jerusalem played 2,000-3,000 years ago to the front of the table, when it was the center of the world, where modern civilization started, a destination for tourists, for pilgrims from all religions. Jerusalem has that potential today,” he said.

It will be the center of the world again one day when the Messiah sits on His throne in Jerusalem.

Leftist Views same as being an Arab Muslim Terrorist
Israel continues to be vilified by none other than Arab lies and the leftist-liberal media and like minded people, which I find interesting, because many of these people are Jews...who don't seem to mind being on the same side as terrorists.
Where does all this hatred come from? Here's a hint: From the Complete Jewish Bible: Genesis 3:14, 15 "Adonai, God, said to the serpent, because you have done this, you are cursed more than all livestock and wild animals. You will crawl on your belly and eat dust as long as you live. I will put animosity between you and the woman and between your descendant and her descendant; He will bruise your head, and you will bruise His heel."
Satan has not ceased day or night to come against God's anointed and His people. If you notice, Arab Muslims have a mandate to be at war with Christians and Jews. And those who do not believe God's Written Word, side with them. This is not just happenstance. It was prophesied from the very beginning, and it will continue until Yeshua returns to put Satan, and those who follow him, under His feet!!
I Corinthians 15:24-25 "then -- the culmination, when He hands over the Kingdom to God the Father, after having put an end to all all rulership, yes, to every authority and power.25For He has to rule until He puts all His enemies under His feet
Ephesians 1:20-23
20when He worked in Messiah, to raise Him from the dead, and seat Him at His right hand in the heaven,
21far above every ruler, and authority, power, dominion or any other name that can be named in the olam hazeh (this age) or in the olam haba (coming age); 22Also, He has put all things under His feet, and made Him head over everything to the Messianic community,23which is His body, the full expression of Him who fills all creation."
But we do not have to wait until then and do nothing...we can pray and stand united for Israel!!

A most blessed Christmas to all!
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Matthew 1:22,23
So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
John 1:14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 14:2,3
"In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."
Our Lord came here the first time...exactly as Scripture said he would. Our Lord is sure to return a second time...exactly as Scripture says He will.
When He came the first time as God manifest in human flesh, it was the most humble of beginnings. Most people did not believe nor did they understand that Jesus was the promised and long awaited Messiah who had come to save His people from their sins. Because of that, many missed the first coming of the One who was the eternal King and Savior of the world.
However, when he returns a second time, He won't be seen as a helpless baby lying in an animal feeding trough in a filthy stable as He was at His first coming. Nor will Jesus appear as a young boy sitting on the lap of the one who physically gave birth to His humanity. He won't return as a suffering Jesus either - hanging on a cross naked, beaten and bleeding while dying a most horrible death.
When Jesus returns the second time, He will be a victorious Jesus who has conquered death and the grave. At the second coming His fierce wrath will crush and defeat all evil, and He'll be ready to declare judgment on an unbelieving world. Nobody will miss His second coming!
Jesus will decend from heaven in great power and glory riding a milk white stallion - followed by the armies of heaven. His eyes will be as blazing fire. Written on His blood stained robe and thigh will be the Name: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
The Bible promises that every eye will see His coming...every knee will bow before Him...and every tongue will confess that He is Lord.
Are you ready to meet Him? Is He your Savior, your Lord, and the Master of your life? You must be very sure.
Come quickly, Lord Jesus!

Jews raise millions to be ready for coming of the Messiah
November 14, 2009
JERUSALEM: Yehuda Glick is a 44-year-old American-born Jew who spends most of every day preparing for the arrival of the Messiah in Jerusalem.
Since he became the executive director of the Temple Institute, Mr Glick's main task has been to supervise the manufacture of the utensils the high priests will need when the day arrives.
Crowns and other instruments made of solid gold fill glass cases in the Temple Institute museum in Jerusalem's Old City.
Other artefacts include an array of copper urns, trumpets made of silver and garments to be worn by the High Priest, woven from golden thread.
Musical instruments, including hand-made harps and lyres, lie ready to be brought to life upon the Messiah's appearance.

When the true Messiah comes (not the one they are preparing for), it won't happen in the way they have planned either. All of the millions of dollars raised, all of the gold and silver, and all of the fine crafted instruments and utensils being prepared for that day will be for nought. They are just works and material things.
The true Messiah, the Son of God, will come with great power and glory, He will destroy all evil, and He will rule and reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords forever.

The Mystery of Lag Ba'Omer

Jews celebrate a minor holiday called Lag Ba'Omer, or Counting of the Omer, celebrated this year on May 12th. Reading the history of this holiday is very enlightening and gives one a clearer perspective as to the heart of Jews who refuse to accept Yeshua as their Messiah.
Here is an excerpt from a teaching by Rabbi Pinchas Stolper
Thirty-three days following the first day of Passover, Jews celebrate a "minor" holiday called Lag Ba'Omer, the thirty third day of the Omer. It is an oasis of joy in the midst of the sad Sefirah period which is almost unnoticed by most contemporary Jews. Yet it contains historic lessons of such great severity -- that this generation must not only unravel the mystery of Lag Ba'Omer but will discover that its own fate is wrapped in the crevices of its secrets.
The seven weeks between Passover and Shavuot are the days of the "Counting of the Omer," the harvest festivities which were observed in Eretz-Israel when the Temple stood on Mt. Moriah in Jerusalem.
This fifty day period should have been a time of joyful anticipation. Having experienced the Exodus from Egypt on Pesach, every Jew literally "counts the days" from the first night of Passover until Mattan Torah - the revelation of Torah at Mt. Sinai which took place on Shavuot, exactly fifty days after the Exodus. While the Exodus marks the physical birth of the Jewish nation -- the Giving of Torah completes the process through the spiritual birth of the Jewish nation.
Each year, as we celebrate the Seder on Passover, we are commanded to "see ourselves as though each of us actually experienced the Exodus." It therefore follows that we must prepare ourselves during the Sefirah period (counting of the Omer), to once again accept the Torah on Shavuot -- to make our freedom spiritually complete.
Clearly then, the Sefirah days should have been days of joy, but instead, they are observed as a period of semi-mourning. Weddings, music and haircuts are not permitted, some do not shave during this entire period. It is on the sad side of Sefirah that we come across the holiday of Lag Ba'Omer, the one day during this sad period when our mourning is halted, when sadness is forbidden.
What is the reason for sadness during what should have been a period of joyful anticipation? The reason, the Babylonian Talmud tells us, [Yevamot:62:2] is that during this period, Rabbi Akiva's 24,000 students, who lived 1,850 years ago in the Roman dominated Land of Israel, died from a mysterious G-d sent plague. Why did they die? Because the Talmud teaches, "they did not show proper respect to one another." Lag Ba'Omer is celebrated on the thirty-third day because on that day the plague ended and Rabbi Akiva's students stopped dying. Read this interesting story here: Lag Ba'Omer

Days of Elijah
Trust in Him. Lean not on your own understanding and know that although it seems as though the days ahead are going to be wrought with trials for the nation, this is the time we must stand up and witness like never before.
Psalm 27:1
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Romans 8:31
What shall we say then to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Bozrah the Sheep Pen of the Messiah
The link below provides a study showing where the Second Coming of the Messiah will take place. This subject is often misunderstood by even the most noted scholars. There is much confusion concerning the timing of the Second Coming and the Rapture of the Church, and the term Battle of Armageddon is also an event that is often misunderstood. This will detail the scriptures indicating the return of the Jewish Messiah, Yeshua (Hebrew for Jesus).
The main error about the Valley of Armageddon is that it is incorrectly named. From the Hebrew Har-Meggido or Mount Meggido. Meggido is an ancient city near the Valley of Jezreel. There is no battle here only a gathering of the Gentile armies of the Anti-Messiah against the nation of Israel. This gathering is very much like the gathering of the Allied Forces in Ryad, Saudi-Arabia in Operation Desert Storm 1 in the early 1990's. Bozrah is not the same Bosera in southern Iraq. (Both meaning sheep pen but are different locations.)
The armies are gathered, and Israel will learn of the passage:
Matthew 24:15-16, "Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains."
They heed this prophesy and flee to the mountainous wilderness in Southern Jordan (Edom) to a city called Bozrah. Bozrah is an Old Testament city in Edom whose name translates as sheep pen. The city that closely resembles a sheep pen in Southern Jordan is the ancient Roman city called Petra. A rock fortress that is highly defendable with the surrounding mountains. The remnant of Israel flees Jerusalem as foretold in Isaiah.

God Will Never Forget Thee, Zion!

(Isaiah 49:14-16)
But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me,
And my Lord has forgotten me."
"Can a woman forget her nursing child,
And not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Surely they may forget,
Yet I will not forget you.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me."
The Lord has tatooed Zion/Jerusalem on the palms of His hands...
her walls are continually before Him. No matter what unbelieving, corrupt government tries to sell out Israel to her enemies, Israel/Jerusalem is ever before the Lord. He has wed Himself to her. He is her bridegroom. She will always be in His heart. The enemies of Israel have her destruction in mind, even those enemies within, whose hearts are not Jewish, those who call themselves Jews but are not and love not the land that was specifically given to them by the Creator of heaven and earth, but God says He will defend her.
We may yet have our faith tried in this respect, if the Lord allows the unthinkable to happen in order to bring Israel to her knees so that her people will acknowledge Yeshua as Messiah. We may think as others undoubtedly will, that God has forsaken His Beloved... but stand strong when these things happen, for God is not a man that He should lie... what He has said He will bring to pass.
Never doubt for a minute that God's Word is true, and that He is orchestrating all that is happening--for Israel's future benefit~never cease to pray for the peace of Jerusalem!!!

Dead Sea Scrolls Link Past and Present
CBN News Mideast Bureau Chief
August 24, 2008
http://www.cbn.com/CBNnews/431829.aspx
CBNNews.com - JERUSALEM, Israel - Just over 60 years ago, a Bedouin boy stumbled on one of the greatest treasures in history. He discovered the first of the Dead Sea Scrolls, which constitute the oldest evidence for the Hebrew Bible.
On the edge of the Dead Sea, deep in the heart of the Judean wilderness in a place called Qumran, came some of the most significant artifacts of modern times: the Dead Sea Scrolls.
For two millennia, the scrolls lay hidden in 11 caves throughout the Qumran area. Their discovery marked the most important archaeological finds of the 20th century.
To learn more about the Dead Sea Scrolls, CBN News hiked up to one of those 11 caves with Stephen Pfann, founder of the University of the Holy Land and an expert on the Dead Sea Scrolls.
When asked why the Dead Sea Scrolls were so important to us today, Pfann said, "because they confirm the Bible that we have. There's variants, but basically it's [that] you can barely tell the difference between the two texts, [the one] that we have in Qumran and in our Bibles."
The Dead Sea Scrolls provide a 2,000-year-old link between the Scriptures during the time of Jesus and today.

Preparing the Ornamental Crown for the Brass Laver
WORK CONTINUES APACE ON THE NEW COPPER LAVER being produced by the Temple Institute, and this past Wednesday, (19 Av, 5768/August 20, 2008), an important step forward was taken: the copper keter, or ornamental crown, which will be affixed to the top of the laver, was completed and delivered to the Acco based factory of Shlomo Buchbut, where the laver is being prepared.
THE BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED KETER IS THE WORK OF CHAIM ODEM, renowned Israeli metalsmith. Chaim has taken part in the design and manufacture of many of the metal vessels produced by the Temple Institute, most notably the golden menorah. For months Chaim has been busy at work on the keter, a process which began with his own artistic rendition of a crowning ornament worthy of adorning the Holy Temple-bound copper laver. Once having acheived a suitable design, Chaim then had to create molds and templates, only after which did he begin the painstaking task of hammering by hand the design into the copper sheet.
THE LAVER IS A SANCTIFIED TEMPLE VESSEL, and as such, it is forbidden to store water in the laver itself overnight. A Second Temple High Priest by the name of Ben Kattin devised a separate reservoir which sat atop the laver, in which the water could be stored, thereby improving the efficiency of the laver, while maintaining the vessel's sanctity. This reservoir was called the muchni. It is upon the muchni's modern-day equivalent that the ornamental crown will sit.
